Halloween Weekend at Eternal Designs Part One

Well folks as you know its Halloween, Samhain, Eve of All Saints, what ever you wish to call it, Day of the Dead. Some think its just fun to dress up, and spook each other. Others take the season far more seriously and it is for some beliefs a very sacred Holiday. What ever you believe in or don't believe in be respectful to others beliefs.



At Eternal Designs it all shoots off with a Sim Hunt, across the hunt, hmm wonder what we are hunting for? What ever we are hunting for its going to be great fun, great scare and just did we mention great fun. Its just going to be fun. Its not about winning its about taking part having fun and seeing around the sim. Don't just hunt, try things out. Watch out for spooks though its going to be a fun night all round.

Wedding Mania wins a prize

The wedding mania featured in the previous entry has won a prize, from The Twisted Thorn the award goes to TinTin Tuxing, the Wedding Sets creator and the use of that gorgeous fabric that you see above in the table arrangement, it looks like it came out of a Bridal Magazine. Well done to Tintin and her exquisite talent and eye for detail.

Just look at the texture, you can almost feel the taffetta fabric which created this table cloth, if you need good textures and great fabrics Nighty Goodspeed creates this beautiful fabric. Her sim is a pleasure to visit with teleports for every destination. The Twisted Thorn

 The Eternal Designs teams work is just so beautiful we can't stop using it in all our work, just imagine a halloween dinner "heart soup" any one? Why is this heart still beating? thats just one of the fun details that the designers add to their work.

Eternal Designs was also awarded for the mini avatar competition entries, embrace your inner child on second life and relive your childhood. Some of these mini avis are so cute and adorable kids escaping from adulthood to be children again. They wear the cutest childrens clothes and there is a huge market for the childhood avatar on second life. Eternal Designs definitely makes the  little ones right at home on the sim.

Its not too late to enter Eternal Designs latest photo competition, just dress up in your best costume, head down to the sim take a photograph and send it to Jimster Deed or TinTin Tuxing. You only have till the 30th October to get those entries in. Nighty Goodspeed is going to judge them on Halloween so hurry up and take part you know you want to.

Wiccan Wedding Midnight Mania

Eternal Designs  When TinTin said she had made a wiccan Wedding, or dark arts call it what you will. It was the fastest teleport in the history of Second Life to see her latest creation.

Night or Day you decide, but who has been invited to the Wedding of the Year.

The Ghostly Carriage is not included, seriously folks a trip to the sim at Eternal Designs is the only way to really appreciate TinTin's latest master piece.

Hope they don't eat the witness! As you can see there are plenty of benches for all your guests, no matter how many you invite or forgot to invite. You really do need to see this for yourselves though, its out of this world.



The photos cannot do this justice and its still available on the Midnight Mania boards for you to own. Yes this fantastic build could be yours for free if you hurry down and slap those boards. As you know if enough people slap the board and it reaches its target everyone wins the prize on the board.

Any vampire would be happy to walk his bride down to this altar. Guessing you would have to be invited, gate crashes might end up on the menu! It conjured up thoughts of the Charmed ones when Phoebe Halliwell married the Demon Cole Turner, aka Alyssa Milano and Julian McMahon. We could just imagine the High Priestess or Priest binding them together in dark matrimony.

It needn't be a dark art Wedding though, it could just be one of those Gothic affairs that so many people love to attend these days. It is what you want it to be. Great addition to your Halloween sim, your Vampire worlds, your Gothic worlds or just a plain treat to have on your sim.

Alleyoops Birthday Celebration

This weekend TinTin, Jimster and the friends of Alleyoop threw her a super birthday celebration on Eternal Designs sim. It was kicked off with one of TinTins legendary hunts, all participants had to look around the sim for cup cakes, pick it up and take it back to TinTin or Jimster.
Everyone tore the sim apart looking for the cup cakes, they where not hidden but they where easier for some to find than for others. Even the crocodile was offered one, something that he did not appreciate.

 Waiting for Alley to arrive so we could wish her a fantastic birthday. Alley said it had been the best birthday ever, but the celebrations had only just begun.

Fireworks thanks to Kubido, who provided the best display Alley could have wished for but some did go off course, perhaps a virtual wind had whipped up around Eternal Designs sim and knocked those fireworks over giving a taste of realism to the celebrations.

Finally everything worked out just fine and those fireworks went off with a real blast. There was virtual champagne, beer for the guys and some cherry cola for the little ones that frequent the sim. Eternal Designs is definitely "child avi" friendly, so it you have chosen to be a "child avi" you are very welcome to visit Eternal Designs and know that your visit will be a happy and friendly one. Who knows, whos birthday we may celebrate next time.

Weekend Midnight Mania

Just a quick update about the exciting creations that are now available on the Midnight Mania boards at  EternalDesigns . 

Stable your horses for winter, lambs, pigs, cats, or just make a sweet Nativity Scene.

Just one of the prizes on the Midnight Mania board, give your staff a proper roasting next time they are late for work or group activities.

Cackles madly, there be plenty of spooky things to liven or dead up your sim this Halloween. May be you live in a large house and have large grounds, just think of the treat you will give those little avatars when they come calling. Come down to Eternal Designs today for the Witches Cave, a scary spider, a roasting human spit [avatar spit] and of course the stable for the horses.

If you think something is astronomically expensive, you need to study the detail of the build to understand a lot of hard work and love went into these builds that they create. So treat yourselves to day to a little piece of Eternal Designs heaven on earth, or second life. The workmanship on these builds created for you is a craft in it self.

Spook when Spooken to

Caught up with the Designers of Ethernal Design at a fair they had visited. Second Life fairs are so much fun. They where modelling ghost costumes. Where are the spectacles we wondered then the ghosts would have looked scary.

On the Midnight Mania boards at  Eternal Designs . There are always fantastic creations free, all you have to do is slap the boards, if the target reaches its goal, you win the prize. Its always changing, you have to head on down to see whats on offer. You won't be disappointed.

Still Time Folks

To enter the latest photo competition. The Eternal Blogger had a look around the Beast House to see what spooked her and as you can see there is a lot going on around there. Anything spooky will do for this competition, here are just  a few samples of what has been entered so far.

Not sure who will win though and there is still time to enter. Entries must be in by the 30th October 2010. The prizes are excellent value too.

Ripper of a Day

The Designers and creators of Eternal Design have surpassed themselves once again. How do they do this? creative minds and great talent from Tintin and Jimster. On the sim right now for all group members is a fantastic Midnight Mania gift.











How did they come up with the idea of this great pub, called Jack the Ripper. Its inception began whilst talking to the designers, admist Tintins creation of a Flying Cauldron pulled by four witches. Whilst discussing our love of ghostly haunts, Tintin said she was going to create a Victorian epic public house and Jack the Ripper was born.

As you know from previous entries, there has been a whole theme of Jack the Ripper and the legendary Sherlock Holmes running through the sim and Midnight Mania boards.

If you don't know what Midnight Mania is, then here is a brief explanation. Midnight Mania was introduced via Lucky Boards, and has been used by shops and sims alike to encourage more traffic to their shops and sims. It works for the customers they recieve great FREE gifts if the board reaches its target. It works for the designers, they are able to reward customers with great merchandise, and the customer has working samples of products made by the creators. Thats Midnight Mania in a nutshell, its great fun.

The Jack the Ripper Pub is Born.

Halloween Photo Competition.

Don't forget there is still time to enter the Halloween Competition, Eternal Designs blogger had some fun trying out different poses around the beast house in her cheeky candy corn Witch costume. We know you can do a great photo and if you need help just ask. Just snap a photo on the sim, Midnight is a good setting for sun, but sunset is just as eerie if your looking for something more ethereal than spooky. You have until the 30th October to put in your entry, send it to TinTin or Jimster.

So head on over to Eternal Designs. Check out the sim, join the group and slap those boards.

Eternal Designs a world of enchantment awaits you.

On arriving at the Sim for the first time, turn off your music, and listen to the crickets, birds singing and a general choir of nature can be heard. Ok turn on your music if you wish or listen to the ambient noise of the Sim.

You will notice four little pigs and two cats. If you watch the animation for long enough, the cat will read the book, and his partner in crime will dip his paw in a fish bowl. There are small animated fairies just dancing around. You can sit on the steps and watch the scene unfold or you can take a walk towards what you probably came for.

Midnight Madness Boards. There are an abundance of boards, high quality products that are so beautiful you will be wanting to come back for more.

Near the boards you will see a crocodile, sit on him and he will eat you, as demonstrated by Eternal Designs Blogger.

As he chomps down on your bones you will be swallowed whole, stand to revive your self.













The owners and creators of Eternal Design are always one step ahead with themes of the season or themes that have been inspired by Jimster Deed and TinTin Tuxing's creative flair for authentic furniture, buildings and all sorts of fantastic things. Don't just slap an MM board and leave, feel free to wander around the sim.

There are always entertaining things for you to try out on the sim. Such as the Death Pose ball, will let you die a gory death, shock your friends when you call them to slap the Midnight Mania boards with your dying swan pose in a pool of blood.

TinTin has just completed a very beautiful scene, taken from the legend that is Sherlock Holmes. The theme has finished now, but the furniture and living quarters of that quintessential and great detective can still be seen on the Sim. You can sit by his fire and wait for Dr. Watson and Sherlock to assist you with the lastest dilemma a young victorian Miss or Gentleman may find them selves in. The fire crackles and glows, dressing up in Victorian clothes is part of the fun, perhaps you are a young damsel in distress or a young man in fear of his life. Conjuring up thoughts of Jack the Ripper, the Hound of the Baskervilles, to name just two of Sherlocks most famous investigations. Then of course there is his arch nemesis Professor Moriarty, ah the perils of Sherlock.
